Bajaj Maxima X Wide

The Bajaj Maxima X Wide is available in three powertrain options – CNG, LPG and diesel. The CNG and LPG versions come with the same petrol-based single-cylinder 236.2cc engine, which produces 9 hp of power and 16.2 Nm of torque in the CNG mode and 10 hp of power and 17.5 Nm of torque in the LPG mode. The diesel engine here is a single-cylinder 470.5cc engine, which churns out a maximum power of 8 hp and a maximum torque output of 22.7 Nm. All the versions come standard with a 4-speed manual gearbox. 

The Bajaj Maxima X Wide has a suspension unit comprising hydraulic telescopic forks with helical compression springs at the front and rubber compression springs at the rear. The rickshaw also comes with drum brakes at both the front and rear. 

With a ground clearance of 170, the Bajaj Maxima X Wide measures 3073mm long, 1490mm wide and 1855mm tall. The rickshaw also has a wheelbase of 2025mm, while it has a gross vehicle weight of 910 kg. The kerb weight of the Bajaj Maxima X Wide is rated at 531 kg, with it having a cabin capable of seating three passengers behind, 

The overall dimensions and large visual appeal of the Bajaj Maxima X Wide make it look the largest among all the three-wheeler rickshaws available from Bajaj Auto. The Bajaj Maxima X Wide is available in three colour options – green, yellow and black, and in all three colour options, it comes with a soft top cloth as standard. In all three colour options, it gets a yellow-coloured front half with a curved windscreen at the front. The lower apron of the Bajaj Maxima X Wide has a T-shaped panel with rounded edges, which gets rounded headlamps within their scooped housings. The middle part of the front garnish gets a tri-slat design for the air vents. At the back, the Bajaj Maxima X Wide has hinged doors on both sides for additional protection for passengers inside. 

While the Bajaj Maxima X Wide is one of the largest rickshaws from Bajaj Auto, it still feels basic with just a handlebar having a small, rounded instrument console in the middle.
