MathWorks Partners with Altigreen to Boost Electric Three-Wheeler Progress

Electric vehicles are gaining more attention and for good reasons – they're environmentally friendly and cost-effective in the long run. But making electric vehicles, especially three-wheelers, is not a walk in the park. That's where MathWorks and Altigreen come in, joining forces to make the process easier and faster.

Dr Amitabh Saran, Founder and CEO, Altigreen, said, 'Using Matlab and Simulink enabled our teams to rapidly test ideas and iterate on new design enhancements and features. Our proactive approach of investing in simulation and clean technologies, such as electric powertrains, helped the company reduce emissions and noise and create electric three-wheelers that outperform their fossil fuel counterparts in terms of torque, power, and range.'

The MathWorks-Altigreen Team-Up

Altigreen initially joined the MathWorks Startup Program, which provides early-stage companies with cost-effective access to MATLAB, Simulink, and various applications to build prototypes and scale production. The program also offers technical mentoring, support from application engineers, language-specific training, and discounted training. Altigreen has graduated from the program and now uses Model-Based Design, which reduces development time and utilizes real-world test data simulations to enhance the design process iteratively.

By teaming up, MathWorks and Altigreen can help electric three-wheeler makers save time and money. They can design, test, and improve their vehicles faster and more efficiently. This means we might see even better electric three-wheelers on our streets sooner than we thought.

The partnership between MathWorks and Altigreen is exciting news for the world of electric three-wheelers. It means more options for clean, green transportation, and that's a win for all of us and the planet. So, keep an eye out for those zippy electric three-wheelers – they might just be the future of getting around town!
