Mahindra Launches Zor Grand Electric Three Wheeler In India

Globally renowned, electric solutions company, Mahindra Electric Mobility Limited (MEML) launches a new cargo electric three-wheeler in India- the Zor Grand. According to the release, this premium product from Mahindra is offered at a starting price of Rs.3.60 Lakh, ex-showroom Bangalore. 

Further, the brand has also received more than 12,000 bookings under the strategic partneship with leading logistic companies like Mahindra Logistics, Magenta EV Solutions, MoEVing, EVnow, Yelo EV and Zyngo among others. 

On this momentous occasion, Suman Mishra, CEO of Mahindra Electric Mobility Limited said, “The last mile delivery and logistics segment has seen a need for premium and high-quality electric vehicles to enable reliable and cost-effective cargo transportation. We are excited to launch our all-new Zor Grand to effectively address these demands. It offers a power-packed performance and enables us and our stakeholders to meet their sustainability goals.”

As for the vehicle, the Zor Grand is believed to be technologically advanced thanks to the  NEMO-connected vehicle platform for fleet management & better operational efficiency. It also offers an all-digital instrument cluster that shows the State of Charge (SoC), range, speedometer, battery health indicator and tell-tale lights. In addition to these, the three-wheeler comes with 5 years/150000-kilometre battery warranty as well. 

Furthermore, the Zor Grand has an Advanced Li-ion Battery pack which enables a range of more than 100 km per charge. This Lithium-ion technology battery ensures a charging time of less than 4 hours and coupled with the electric motor, helps it produces best-in-industry power of 12kW and 50Nm of peak torque. 

The Zor Grand also gets a strong metal body along with cabin doors, making it a weatherproof design. More importantly, the vehicle gets 6 feet loading tray and OE-fitted 140/170 Cu.feet delivery box to carry more load. It has a 3-side opening cargo tray for easy loading & unloading process and gets best-in industry Gradeability of 11.5 degree which makes climbing slopes with load easier.

Finally, for a better after-sales service experience across India, Mahindra offers its customer 800 touchpoints spread over the length and breadth of the country. To also enhance its user experience, the brand is offering a vehicle warranty of 3 years/ 80000 kilometres. Also, it has been mentioned that customers can save up to Rs.6-lakh in ownership costs in 5 years compared with Diesel and up to Rs. 3-lakh compared with CNG cargo 3-wheelers.
