Euler Motors' Palwal Facility: Driving India's EV Revolution with Cutting-Edge Technology

India's electric vehicle (EV) landscape is transforming. At the forefront is Euler Motors, a pioneer in the Indian market. Their mission is to outperform traditional vehicles while meeting Indian businesses' specific needs. Euler Motors aims to create EVs for India. They focus on high payload, efficient batteries, charging, and data analytics.

The flagship product of Euler Motors is HiLoad EV. To meet the high demand for HiLoad EV, Euler Motors has set up a manufacturing and R&D facility in Palwal, Haryana. It's an industrial hub. The facility, built with a Rs 100 crore investment and spanning 500,000 square feet, is vital to the company. The plant produces 36,000 vehicles every year. The company aims to grow its market presence from 26 to 40 cities by FY25 using this facility. The facility employs over 500 people, 20% of whom are women. It has a learning center, 'Kamar-Taj,' to close the EV manufacturing skills gap.

Industry-first automation

The automated helpline connects through a manufacturing execution system. It monitors everything about the vehicle, from assembly to delivery. The facility has an EMS hanger system for auto-loading and unloading. It streamlines the assembly process. Other features include a trailing arm fitment assist for better assembly. A vacuum-based brake oil filling machine minimizes spillage and contamination. A portable CMM checks body accuracy.

Maintaining the ESG standards

Euler Motors is deeply committed to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards. The facility has advanced waste systems, a sewage plant, and a circular groundwater recharge system.

Compliance and certifications

Euler's Palwal facility, governed by the Factories Act of 1948, is the only cargo EV start-up with four certifications, i.e. ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) and IATF 16949 (Quality Management System for Automotive). These certifications show the company's commitment to global manufacturing and quality standards.

To achieve 15% growth in FY25, the company must scale production to meet rising demand. This facility will be key to that. The Palwal facility's tech and quality make Euler Motors a top contender in India's commercial EV sector.
