Joy e-bike Unveils New Electric Three-Wheeler At Auto Expo 2023

Latest Details: Renowned electric two-wheeler brand, Joy e-bike has showcased a new electric three-wheeler at the Auto Expo 2023- the Joy e-Rik. Read on for details: 

The commercial vehicle industry is witnessing significant demand for electric vehicles, precisely three-wheelers that offers the best performance, especially among the logistics and transport industry since they require vehicles which can be utilised without much downtime and is sustainable at the same time. After all, efficient and reliable three-wheelers lead to profitability which drives in better opportunities. 

In this regard, the renowned electric two-wheeler brand, Joy e-bike has showcased a new electric three-wheeler which is believed to offer the best performance in the CV market. It is none other than the Joy e-Rik, an advanced electric rickshaw which has a payload capacity of 340 kg.

As for the Joy e-Rik, it comes equipped with a 6 kW battery pack which is basically an LFP lithium-Ion battery with a voltage of 6V. This battery pack combined with its 60V advanced electric motor has the capacity to deliver 4 kW of maximum power output and 6.8 kW of peak power delivery. 

Further, the vehicle comes with hydraulically actuated drum brakes as well, which as per the company, delivers the best braking performance and maximum stopping power even in the event of an emergency. Apart from this, the rickshaw also comes fitted with helical springs with a dampener in the front end for stability while the rear houses rubber springs with a dampener for ride comfort.

The Joy e-Rik also comes fitted with a plethora of features which could possibly make it one of the best products in the CV market. It rolls out of the factory with a parking brake, 3-passenger seating configuration, 30 Amp battery charger, fire extinguisher, a USB port, a 12V socket, a reverse buzzer system, a digital instrument cluster and hazard lights among others.
