• Powertrain And Performance

  There are two different powertrain options available in the Bajaj Maxima C – a 236.2cc petrol-CNG powertrain, which develops 7.1 kW of maximum power and 16.2 Nm of maximum torque and a 470.5cc diesel engine, which churns out 6.24 kW of maximum power and 24 Nm of maximum torque. A 4-speed manual gearbox is the standard choice of transmission for both versions.of the Auto Rickshaw.

• Suspension and Brakes

  The standard suspension provided in both versions of the Bajaj Maxima C includes a hydraulic swing arm setup at the front and a helical coil suspension spring at the rear. While the petrol-CNG version comes with a wet multi-plate clutch, the diesel engine has a dry single-plate clutch setup. A foot-operated drum brake is offered as standard in this Bajaj Auto Rickshaw.

The payload of the three variants also differs from each other – 482 kg for the petrol-CNG, 460 kg for the diesel and 438 kg for the petrol-LPG. With a gross vehicle weight of 986 kg for the petrol-CNG version and 965 kg for the diesel version, the Bajaj Maxima C claims a good payload capacity of 556 kg for the petrol-CNG version and 535 kg for the diesel version.

• Exterior and Interior

The Maxima C has a single-passenger cabin for the driver while having a deck at the back for loading purposes. The front profile of the Bajaj Auto Rickshaw is divided into two halves – while the upper half has a curved windscreen and turn indicators below its lower corners, the lower half has a Y-shaped black panel comprising two rounded halogen headlamps in its upper corners.
