• Engine and Performance

  The Volvo FM 400 gets the same humongous 12.8-litre six-cylinder D13A, DI Turbocharged Intercooled diesel engine with Engine Management System from Volvo FH 520 Puller. The engine is coupled to a 14-speed manual gearbox and is retuned to produce a maximum power output of 400 hp and a peak torque of 2500 Nm.

• Exterior

  The Volvo FM 400 has its front profile divided into two parts – the front apron and the front bumper. Then comes the front bumper, which looks huge and gets partitioned air dams in trapezoidal forms. This bumper has vertically-laid trapezoidal headlamps. The lower part of the front bumper looks slim and has a blacked-out finish across the width of the bumper.

The co-driver side of the dashboard has the other half of the centre console facing towards it, which comes integrated with cup holders, storage spaces and AC vents.
