• Engine and Performance

  The only engine option with which all the variants of Tata T7 Ultra are available is a 3.0-liter 4SPCR diesel engine, which is available with a 5-speed G400 manual gearbox as standard. This engine is capable of producing a maximum power output of 100 PS, while the peak torque output of this engine is rated at 300 Nm. The clutch here is a single plate dry friction type, which measures 280mm in diameter.

• Exterior

  The Tata T7 Ultra is one of the most unique-looking light-duty commercial trucks, with its youthful looks of it indicating how Tata has progressed in commercial vehicle designs in all these years. The attention-grabbing element of the front profile of the Tata T7 Ultra is the large inverted trapezoidal black applique positioned just below the front windscreen. The rest of the design of the front apron looks simple with large and vertically aligned trapezoidal headlamps on the lower corners, which come assisted with small air vents placed just beside them. The front bumper looks fairly large for the truck and gets white-coloured surrounds for the fog lamp provisions.

• Interior

  The cabin of the Tata T7 Ultra has a grey finish for the entire layout, but it looks eye-catching thanks to the busy layout of the dashboard. There is a sense of simplicity in the driver’s cockpit comprising of a four-spoke steering wheel and a well-informative instrument console. The centre console has a busy design, which comprises vertical layouts for the 1-DIN audio system, open storage space and AC dial, with AC vents and switch panels on either side. The transmission lever is mounted on the dashboard just below the centre console on a rounded pad. There is also a small glovebox on the lower dashboard on the co-passenger side.
