  The only engine option with which all the variants of Tata T7 Ultra are available is a 3.0-liter 4SPCR diesel engine, which is available with a 5-speed G400 manual gearbox as standard. This engine is capable of producing a maximum power output of 100 PS, while the peak torque output of this engine is rated at 300 Nm. The clutch here is a single plate dry friction type, which measures 280mm in diameter.

The attention-grabbing element of the front profile of the Tata T7 Ultra is the large inverted trapezoidal black applique positioned just below the front windscreen. The rest of the design of the front apron looks simple with large and vertically aligned trapezoidal headlamps on the lower corners, which come assisted with small air vents placed just beside them. The front bumper looks fairly large for the truck and gets white-coloured surrounds for the fog lamp provisions.
