  The Eicher Pro 3012 truck is powered by a BS6-compliant E494 4-cylinder 4-valve diesel engine that produces 160 hp (120kW) at 2600 rpm and 500 Nm at 1200-1800 rpm. Further, its engine is paired with an ET50S7 7-speed transmission and a 330 mm dia clutch for optimal power transmission. 

  Incorporated with rear semi-elliptical laminated leaves with a helper spring at the rear and a shock absorber with parabolic suspension, the Pro 3012 diesel truck facilitates jerk-free cargo mobility. Additionally, it supports a full air brake with an auto slack adjuster at all wheels to stop the vehicle effectively using compressed air. The truck is equipped with APDA (air processing and distribution assembly) for performing multiple functions like oil separation, drying, air distribution, and regeneration.

According to its cargo body configurations, its L20 variant gets a load body measuring 6112 mm in length and 2125 mm in width, while its L24.1 variant has a slightly bigger load body with 7364 mm in length and 2338 mm in width. 

  Furthermore, the Pro 3012 L20 variant has a 4550 mm wheelbase while the L24.1 variant has a 5550 mm wheelbase for stable freight movement. The 220 mm ground clearance is sufficient even on poor roads. It is fitted with 8.25R20-16PR radial tyres for better puncture resistance with improved traction.

  Additionally, the Pro 3012 model handles city traffic easily with a 17.8 m TCD (turning circle diameter) in the L20 variant and a 21.12 m TCD in the L24.1 variant. The 190-litre fuel tank in the L20 variant is made of metal while the 425-litre fuel tank in the L24.1 variant is made of high-density polymer.
