JBM Group celebrated a significant milestone this year—a decade in the bus business, the company has gained extensive experience in this domain and positioned itself as the only dedicated electric bus manufacturer in India catering to both domestic and international markets. Today, JBM's footprint spans 37 countries across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia, and the SAARC region.

Arya attributed this success to JBM’s core strengths—Technology, Innovation, and People (TIP)—which are ingrained in the organization’s DNA. The company’s comprehensive EV ecosystem includes electric vehicles, lithium batteries, power electronics, chargers, mobility solutions, and charging infrastructure. This end-to-end approach, coupled with a dedicated service team of over 5,000 professionals, ensures top-notch customer satisfaction.

Pioneering Charging Infrastructure with Eco Fuel

When discussing JBM’s contribution to EV charging infrastructure, Arya introduced the “Eco Fuel” brand. JBM has successfully executed over 1,000 ultra-fast DC chargers that can fully charge a car in 10 minutes and a bus in 45 minutes to an hour. This rapid turnaround time eliminates range anxiety, enabling higher utilization and facilitating seamless operations for long-haul routes.

Commitment to Net Zero by 2040

A key pillar of JBM’s vision is achieving Net Zero emissions by 2040. The organization integrates green energy into its operations, focusing on high-impact products. For instance, the newly launched Galaxy bus model exemplifies sustainability by significantly reducing CO2 emissions over its lifecycle. Equipped with high-density, energy-efficient batteries, JBM’s vehicles promise performance and reliability, clocking over 1,000 kilometers per day.

The Future of Electric Commercial Vehicles

By investing 3-4% of its topline in R&D, the company stays ahead of market demands and delivers best-in-class solutions. JBM's offerings include autonomous driving features, real-time vehicle tracking, and advanced safety systems for school buses and staff transportation. JBM’s approach involves customizing over 70% of its vehicles to meet specific customer requirements across applications such as city transport, intercity travel, luxury shuttles, school buses, and tarmac operations.

Enhancing After-Sales Services and Collaboration

JBM has a dedicated workforce of 5,000 professionals, the company’s R&D center, comprising 500 engineers, in developing innovative solutions and fostering collaborations with global partners to enhance technology.

Expanding Horizons

While JBM remains focused on its core bus segment, the company continues to expand its portfolio and enter new global markets. JBM aims to become the largest electric company in the commercial vehicle segment within the next decade, catering to the common man with sustainable and innovative mobility solutions.
