MArG 155mm/45 Cal Mounted Gun System made by Kalyani Group Unveiled at IDEX 2025

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, February 17, 2025 - The revolutionary MArG 45 mobile gun system was unveiled by Bharat Forge subsidiary Kalyani Strategic Systems Limited (KSSL) at the esteemed IDEX 2025 event in Abu Dhabi. This first-of-its-kind platform, mounted on a 4x4 all-terrain vehicle, offers unmatched mobility, firepower, and range. The launch was officiated by H.E. Shri Sunjay Sudhir, the Indian Ambassador to the UAE, underscoring India's growing leadership in global defense technology.

The MArG 45 is designed for rapid deployment and superior maneuverability, with exceptional "shoot-and-scoot" capabilities. The gun platform, which boasts an impressive firepower range of over 36 km, is equipped with a tailor-made chassis that ensures excellent agility across various combat environments. With a weight of 23.5 tons, the system can carry 18 rounds and operates with NATO-standard ammunition, enhancing its versatility in modern combat.

The MArG 45's rapid deployment capabilities are notable, requiring just 1.5 minutes to come into action during the day and 2 minutes at night. It also features a robust rate of fire, capable of delivering 10 rounds in 3 minutes and maintaining a sustained rate of 42 rounds per hour, ensuring effective combat support.
