In recent news, India's Vande Bharat Express Train reaches the 180kmph speed limit during a test run. Here are the details.
The Indian Railway has reached a point of transition which has stunned the entire country. It has always been at its pinnacle right from developing railway infrastructure to meeting world-class standards and providing the best means of transportation. However, to further enhance the passenger and travel experience of its customers, the Indian Railway plans to introduce the Vande Bharat Express train, a high-speed train to reduce the overall trip time.
Interestingly, in a recent development, India's Vande Bharat Express train reaches the 180kmph speed limit during a test run conducted a few days ago. In this regard, Union Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnaw wrote "VandeBharat-2 speed trial started between Kota-Nagda section at 120/130/150 and 180 Kmph. Superior ride quality. Look at the glass. Stable at 180kmph speed. #VandeBharat-2”
Further, it has been mentioned by media sources that the train has undergone a preliminary check-up before the test run. The check-up included a major inspection of components and digital instrument panels.

The speed and stability test run of the Vande Bharat express train was conducted on the Kota-Nagda railway section by operating it at different speeds and conditions to test its utmost stability. As per the Research, Design and Standards Organisation (RDSO) team, a detailed oscillation test was also conducted on the newly constructed Vande Bharat train, which included the integration of 16 coaches, at a maximum speed of 180kmph.
Furthermore, it has been reported that numerous phases of trials have been conducted in the Kota Division. In its phase-I trail run, the train successfully completed trips between Kota and Ghat ka Barana, then Ghat Ka Barana to Kota and between Kurlasi and Ramganj Mandi. Also, a trip on the downline between Kurlasi and Ramganj Mandi and Laban was reported to be conducted.

What’s more interesting is that this Vande Bharat Express train has been manufactured in India, which enhances its credibility factor. It is a train with, automatic doors, A/C-equipped chair car coaches and a revolving chair which is believed to have the ability to rotate up to 180 degrees.
The Vande Bharat Express train will indeed boost the operations of the railways and is said to introduce a new level of comfort that passengers will be delighted to experience.
