While the automobile giants, just talking about the idea of converting SCVs to E-SCVs, companies like Omega Seiki have turned it into a reality by manufacturing India’s first-ever Electric Small Commercial Vehicle, namely Omega Seiki Mobility M1KA. With an expected prize of ₹15 L, bookings for M1KA start from the fourth quarter of 2021. Considering the payload capacity and mileage, it is expected to get spotted a lot on Indian roads soon.
