• Engine and Performance

  The Ashok Leyland Oyster comes equipped with a 3839 cc, 4 cylinder H series CRS, iGen6 tech equipped engine that generates 147 hp of power and 450 Nm of torque. The engine is coupled to a synchromesh gearbox that has a cable type shift system. The motor comes with Ashok Leyland’s in-house developed iGen6 technology that enhances the fuel economy. The vehicle can also climb steep terrain efficiently even with cargo and passengers on board thanks to its powerful engine. The Oyster even has a light steering wheel that helps to easily manoeuvre the vehicle while driving through narrow lanes.
