Tejas Vehicles Passenger (Open)

The Tejas Passenger Open is equipped with a 900W DC motor, providing sufficient power for urban commutes. It has a top speed of 25 km/h, making it ideal for short-distance transport. The 120Ah lead-acid battery offers a range of 85-100 km on a full charge, though charging takes 8-10 hours. While efficient, it may struggle on steep inclines.

Designed for urban mobility, it has a compact size with a seating capacity for four passengers plus the driver. The vehicle has a gross weight of 800 kg, ensuring stability while carrying a full load. Its lightweight build allows for easy maneuverability, though cargo space is minimal.

The front leaf spring suspension and rear hydraulic telescopic shock absorbers provide a decent ride quality on smooth roads. Drum brakes ensure basic stopping power, but they are not as efficient as disc brakes. Parking brakes add extra safety when stationed.

The open-body design provides excellent ventilation but lacks weather protection. The build is sturdy, but the absence of doors or side covers makes it less secure in extreme weather. The seating is comfortable for short trips, though it lacks modern features like digital meters.
