The Tejas Passenger (Closed) is powered by a 900W DC motor, delivering a modest top speed of 25 km/h. It runs on a 120Ah lead-acid battery, offering a range of 70-80 km per charge, making it ideal for short urban commutes. The automatic transmission with 1 Forward and 1 Reverse gear ensures ease of operation. However, its power output may struggle on steep inclines.

With a length suited for urban maneuverability, it accommodates a driver and four passengers comfortably. The gross vehicle weight (GVW) stands at 800 kg, supporting moderate loads. Its compact size allows easy navigation through narrow streets, but its turning radius of 4,500 mm could be better for tighter spaces.
