Paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox, this CNG-assisted engine is capable of producing a maximum power output of 9.86 bhp, while its peak torque output is rated at 14.7 Nm. The Atul Rik is also provided with a switch in its cockpit, using which one can toggle between pure petrol and CNG modes, even when the rickshaw is in motion.
