On World EV Day, Mahindra and Mahindra’s commercial vehicle manufacturing unit, Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML), has announced the launch of its electric four-wheeler, e-ZEO, slated for October 3, 2024. The name "e-ZEO," for "Zero Emission Option," shows the vehicle's goal to reduce its environmental impact and support electrifying last-mile transport.
The company says the vehicle will be built with an efficient high-voltage architecture, designed to provide superior energy efficiency, extended range, quicker charging times, and cost-effectiveness in the space, making it an attractive proposition for businesses.
Suman Mishra, managing director and CEO of Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, expressed her enthusiasm about the launch. She said that having led the charge in the last-mile electric three-wheeler vehicle space, it gives us immense pleasure to reveal the brand name of our four-wheeler, ‘e-ZEO’, on World EV Day. She stated that e-ZEO aligns with global efforts to expedite EV adoption, especially in the sub-two-tonne category.
The all-new Mahindra 'e-ZEO' will be a compelling EV option in the ICE-dominated SCV category. The launch of the 'e-ZEO' is a testament to Mahindra's dedication to advancing this movement and driving the transition to a greener future.
