The S32 City Glide is a groundbreaking all-electric ride that redefines urban commuting. With sleek design, powerful performance, and sustainable mobility, the Surge S32 is the future of transportation. A 2-wheeler/3-wheeler combi module of a three-wheeled motor vehicle combines a non-self-propelled rear module unit with a two-wheeled vehicle of category L2 is referred to as the new L2-L5 vehicle category. Hero MotoCorp is anticipated to manufacture 10,000 units a year, and by mid-2025, the model may be ready for the market.
What makes the Surge S32 vehicle unique is its quick and simple transition between two-wheelers and three-wheelers. The Surge 32, which has 40 patents, is basically an e-rickshaw without a front wheel that can be equipped with an e-scooter to act as a front wheel. In this arrangement, the back wheel of the e-scooter is raised off the ground and sits on the rickshaw platform.

During the EICMA event 2024, Pawan Munjal, Executive Chairman and Director, Hero MotoCorp, stated, “For the first time, around the globe and in India, we now have the government's approval to register these vehicles to take them on the road. Both will have separate registration plates, but once the scooter goes into the three-wheeler, then it becomes one united vehicle. So, it's 'united we stand'. We need the three-wheeler when I want to go out with my family, and when I need only the two-wheeler for deliveries, I have the scooter, the electric scooter to take out.”
EICMA, acronym for International Cycle, Motorcycle and Accessories Exhibition, is the most important trade fair event for the entire two-wheel sector and represents the marketing tool of ANCMA, the Confindustria trade association of which the most prestigious companies in the sector are members. EICMA, since its first edition in 1914, has taken place in Milan and is confirmed as the most visited event in the world in terms of number of Exhibitors, Visitors, Operators and Press at an international level.
