Latest News: Ashok Leyland appoints Shenu Agarwal as managing director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company with immediate effect. Read on for details: 

Renowned and globally acclaimed commercial vehicle manufacturer, Ashok Leyland, the flagship company of the Hinduja Group appoints Shenu Agarwal as managing director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company. “Assuming charge, Agarwal will drive the technology development, growth, and future strategy for the company towards achieving our vision to be among the top 10 commercial vehicle players globally,” the brand said in a statement.

Mr. Shenu Agarwal, prior to joining Ashok Leyland, had been in the role of the president of Escorts Kubota Ltd. He has also undertaken numerous roles in the agribusiness throughout his presence in the company, for almost a decade and a half, and has played a key role in the development and further enhancement of ‘Escorts’ into becoming one of the leaders in its sector. He also made sure that the company remained in the leadership position by maintaining its contemporary global standards of quality, design, and manufacturing. 

Agarwal holds an MBA from Duke University, USA, a B.Tech. from NIT Kurukshetra and carries with him more than 30 years of experience. He has worked across sales and marketing, R&D, strategy, product development and project management.

“Shenu has a proven track record as a leader from a business conglomerate and is an allrounder having worked in different capacities in many disciplines.
