JEM Showcases Tez And EV Star CC Trucks At Auto Expo 2023

Latest News: Jupiter Electric Mobility (JEM) showcases two brand new products at the Auto Expo 2023- the JEM Tez and EV Star CC.

The commercial vehicle (CV) industry is rapidly growing and witnessing positive growth trends due to the advancements in the sector, in terms of the manufacturing processes and development of vehicles with advanced powertrain and driveline components. After all, fleet owners, logistics and associated end-use industries require such advanced vehicles for efficient operations and moreover, they contribute a lot to the CV demand in India. 

Nonetheless, among the different commercial vehicle brands that offer such advanced vehicles, Jupiter Electric Mobility (JEM) the EV arm of Jupiter Wagons Limited (JWL) seems to be at the pinnacle of development of uber-cool, performance-oriented CVs that can facilitate profitability for fleet owners, logistics and associated business ventures in the country and therefore might help the CV sector witness significant demand. 

In a recent development, the brand showcased what is believed to be advanced products at the Auto Expo 2023, India’s largest biennial automobile exhibition held at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The two commercial vehicles go by the name JEM Tez and EV Star CC, respectively.

Speaking about the JEM Tez, it is a high-efficiency-based powertrain-equipped truck that has a Gross Vehicle Weight rated 2.2 Ton and a payload capacity rated 1 Ton. Further, the Tez is believed to offer a 100 km driving range for B2B requirements thanks to the 40/80 kW motor which facilitates it. 

The other product which was showcased at Auto Expo 2023- the EV Star CC, seems to be setting new standards in the CV industry with its powerful yet efficient powertrain. This truck comes with a Gross Vehicle Weight rated 7 Ton and has a payload capacity of up to 4 tonnes. Furthermore, the vehicle has150+ kms driving range and can be charged from 0 to 100 in just 1 to 2 hours of charging time.

All-in-all, these two products could be deemed superior products in the CV industry due to their contemporary styling and performance described by the brand.
