The Tata Yodha 2.0 comes equipped with what could be the most powerful engine in the segment, capable of generating 73.6 kW power and delivering 250 Nm torque, which is necessary to carry heavy loads across different terrain with a better turn-around.
As per the specs sheet, the vehicle comes with rigid semi-elliptical leaf spring suspension in the front and Innovative two-stage semi-elliptical leaf springs in the rear end. This is believed to enhance the load-carrying capacity and improve the performance of the vehicle. Further, the brand claims that with the 4 mm thick hydroformed chassis frame, the vehicle can take on voluminous loads easily.
Other than these, its 16” big tyres are said to boost the stability of the vehicle and Eco mode and gear shift advisor also comes integrated into this vehicle.
Apart from the above-mentioned features, the vehicle is said to offer lower maintenance requirements. As per Tata Motors, It has Lubricated For Life (LFL) aggregates that require no greasing throughout the vehicle's life. Also, the engine oil change interval is said to be at 20,000 KMs and since it has an LNT technology with cDPF integrated, no DEF filling is required.
Furthermore, the company states that it has a better payload capacity rated at 2000 kgs, a Gross Vehicle Weight of 3840 kgs and a Kerb Weight of 1840 kgs. Other than these, it also comes with a 30% gradability.
The Tata Yodha 2.0 is simply uber-cool and contemporary in looks all the way from the inside to the outside. The vehicle comes with a stone guard on the front end for enhanced safety, a sturdy 3-piece metallic bumper for ease of repairs and serviceability and an anti-roll bar on the front side for stability on gradients and uneven terrain.
Apart from these, it comes with a contemporary-looking dashboard design which looks good in every sense and angle. The steering also feels quite chunky and there are high utility compartments in the cabin with a lockable glovebox, and magazine/bottle holder. Also, the vehicle has a fast mobile charger, RPAS, and sliding window on the cabin rear wall. These features make it a practical vehicle overall.
From the First Look, the Tata Yodha 2.0 certainly seems like a new-age pickup truck that can take on tough challenges presented by fleet owners and operators as well as the difficult terrain in India. It comes with top-class features and a comfortable cabin which is believed to reduce driver fatigue in order to increase productivity.
