At the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024, Eicher showcased its Pro 2055 EV, the first 5.5-ton electric truck in India, ideal for eco-friendly last-mile delivery. This model reflects Eicher’s commitment to sustainable transportation. Alongside it, the Pro 8055—a powerful, high-capacity truck—also made an appearance, underscoring Eicher's focus on low-emission solutions. Both trucks highlight Eicher’s focus on innovative designs, advanced technology, and reduced environmental impact for commercial vehicles.

Ashok Leyland showcased its 5532 AN, a truck powered by LNG + CNG, marking a shift toward cleaner fuel alternatives and reducing reliance on diesel. Complementing this was the Ashok Leyland Boss EV and the Switch EV—electric models that align with the company’s focus on zero-emission options. Ashok Leyland’s lineup at the Expo underscores its commitment to alternative fuel options and cutting-edge EV technology, offering fleet operators versatile choices that align with eco-friendly practices in both urban and heavy-duty applications.  

Tata Motors led the electric showcase with a range of vehicles that caught everyone’s attention. The highlight was the Nexon iCNG concept, which marks India’s first model to offer such an extensive array of powertrain options. In addition to the Nexon iCNG, Tata also unveiled the Harrier EV and Punch EV, alongside futuristic concepts like the Altroz Racer. For fans of Tata’s popular models, updated versions of the Safari Dark Edition and Nexon EV Dark were also displayed, reflecting the brand’s continued innovation in both electric and traditional vehicle options.

Maruti Suzuki wowed attendees with the debut of its eVX concept—an all-electric SUV developed in partnership with Toyota and expected to launch in late 2024. This SUV, built on Toyota’s 27PL platform, promises a spacious cabin and is designed for eco-conscious consumers. Adding to its eco-friendly lineup, Maruti also presented the Wagon R Flex Fuel, a prototype designed to run on ethanol blends, highlighting the brand’s interest in alternative fuel options.
