Always keep an eye out for deer crossing signs while driving through forests and if in case they come in front of your truck, try to brake and not swerve because swerving can cause the truck and trailer to roll over. 

  1. Watch out for black ice: 

Black ice usually forms on the surface of the road at night and during early morning hours when it's cold. So, make sure that you are not speeding and braking heavily as it can cause the truck to lose control and even roll over. 

  1. Look out for tractors: 

Next, in India, the majority of accidents in rural areas occur between farm equipment and other vehicles. This is because tractors tend to move slow and are less conspicuous than other vehicles. Therefore, it is best to slow down if you find a tractor or farm equipment moving ahead of your truck.

Finally, potholes are the major reason for underbody damage. Especially with rain, they become invisible and can cause the truck to fall into one due to poor visibility. So driving slowly is the best thing to do at such times.
