Also, if you like to sleep without lights on and in complete darkness, make sure to get curtains to block the light from the outside like streetlights and other sources.
Next, try to avoid busy rest stops, truck stops and the side of the freeway where loud or unpleasant noises that can cause a disturbance enters your cabin which could affect your sleep. You can use earplugs or noise cancellation integrated headphones to avoid noise from outside. Further, if your truck runs idle while you are sleeping, try to reduce the RPMs to make it somewhat quieter. Most drivers say that the slow rumble of the engine idling is soothing, so, try it out, it might help you sleep better!
