Mahindra sells 45888 tractor units in India during June 2024

Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd Farm Equipment Sector which is part of the Mahindra Group has revealed its tractor sales figures for June 2024.

According to the data shared by Mahindra total domestic tractor sales were 45888 for June 2024. This is significantly higher than the previous year when 43364 units were sold in June 2023.

The total tractor sales including overseas sales during June 2024 was 47319 units which is more than the 44478 units sold during the same period in June 2023.

Hemant Sikka, President – Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. spoke about the growth of 6% achieved by selling 45888 tractors in the domestic market during June '24. He also addressed the farmers' sentiments which have been given a boost by the government announcement of increased food grain production and an increase in MSP for major Kharif crops. There will be strong demand for tractors in the upcoming months as retail momentum has picked up supported by land preparation and an increase in Kharif crop sowing. Mahindra tractors showed a growth of 28% with 1431 tractors sold in June 2024.
